Hello world!

July 6, 2006

I wonder who first used the phrase “Hello world” in computing?; traditionally when you start learning a new programming language the first example is to display the text “Hello world” on the screen – I’m surprised someone hasn’t trademarked it yet so they can charge a licensing fee every time it’s used in in a programming example – such is the way of the world.

Anywho, welcome to the blog of a particularly disenchanted IT bloke.
